The Arch of Triumph is an arch situated in central Pyongyang, Democratic People's Republic of Korea, as a momument to the Korean struggle against Japanese occupation from 1905-1945. It is somewhat comparative to the French one, but it is claimed to be the largest of its kind in the world.

The Arch was built in 1982 as part of a construction boom on the 70th birthday of Kim Il-Sung. each of its 25,500 blocks of dressed white granite used to build the structure represents a day of his life up to that point
